STARGATE COMMAND
LEFT4DEAD
General Rules and Rules of Etiquette
The following rules supersede all others.
General Rules:
1. At no time may any player use foul or abusive language.
2. The use of cheats and/or exploits is forbidden.
3. The use of indecent sprays is forbidden.
4. At no time are you to ridicule or shout at a member for not playing the way you think he/she should play.
This is a major violation.
5. STAY TOGETHER!
· Do not run off by yourself and leave teammates alone and/or unprotected from surges or special infected.
6. Share pipebombs, molotovs, medi-kits and pills.
7. PLAYING IN NON-SG SERVERS
You are expected to play in SG_CMD Servers. Members may play on other servers ONLY and IF they intend to invite their
friends/players, from the other servers to ours after 1 campaign has been played.
If members are seen NOT to migrate to our servers (after 1 campaign has been played) or if there is a pattern of members
playing in non-SG servers, regardless of what the excuse is, it will be considered a material violation of the rule and disciplinary
action will be taken.
Rules of Etiquette:
1. BE MINDFUL OF THOSE MEMBERS GOING FOR A CAMPAIGN ACHIEVEMENT.
DO NOT ENTER THE RESCUE VEHICLE WITHOUT THE MEMBER THAT IS GOING FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT (the “ACHIEVER”).
If a member is going for an expert campaign completion achievement and you are not, you may not enter the rescue
vehicle until the Achiever enters the vehicle first. The reason being is, if you jump on the rescue vehicle without the
Achiever, the game ends and the hours and hours of game play spent getting to that point goes down the drain.
· Members entering a game in progress should ask if anyone is going for an achievement. All members who are
currently playing should also endeavor to notify joiners of their goals.
· Spare medi-kits should be reserved for those attempting an achievement.
MELEE when appropriate.
If a teammate is grabbed by a Hunter or Smoker, (when possible) melee the special infected off to avoid teamkilling
or injuring your teammates.
If you are slimed by a Boomer, run behind an unaffected teammate and melee until your visibility returns and you have
a clear shot again.
Use of SHOTGUNS.
Be aware that the spray from shotguns can injure other teammates. Use caution when firing in close proximity of teammates.
Shotguns are a poor choice for rescuing incapped survivors, especially Hunter pounced victims.
Use of EXPLOSIVES.
Use caution when expending molotovs/pipebombs in close proximity of teammates especially during infected
crescendos. Careless tossing of explosives can cause serious damage or death to a teammate.
5. GOING AFK WHILE IN GAME.
Keep your AFKs to a minimum. It is understandable that you may have to go AFK during a game, however
to be fair and courteous to all players, please keep them short. Try to take them at a convenient time for
example when you die and are waiting to re-spawn.
By no means are you to go AFK and not return to game for a period longer than a few minutes.
